A line up like this in Angus, at just under £50 feels criminal. Arbroath will once again see a strong Scottish line up at Inchcape park this August and I for one am super stoked!
We are fortunate to get Idlewild, Fatherson and The Xcerts all on one stage and that alone to me is insane. I have loved these three bands for a long time and having had the opportunity to see them all many times in different venues across Scotland (and even in Paris) to see them on the same line up is something mega special and unlikely to happen again – Kudos for the team for pulling this one out of the bag!
Although these bands have been around a long time and really have put Scotland on the musical map over the past decade (and more) Arbroath Fest 2026 also is showcasing talent of the younger generation, the ‘new kids on the block’ so to speak, the artists paving the way and showcasing all what this wonderful island has to offer and highlighting that music is safe in the hands of the bands and artists coming through.
We will see Callum Bowie who has sold out shows across the UK and Europe, Ben Walker, the artist showing up everywhere and even showcasing trucking music is cool! Katie Nicoll, who recently won Scottish Young Live Artist Of The Year award and Copper Lungs who’s 2026 can only be summed up by one word – viral.
As if that isn’t enough to whet the musical appetite as it were, you will also get to see James Liandu, Rebecca Connelly(who recently sold out her hometown headline) and even more.
I cant wait to sing my heart out to bands I have adored for the past decade alongside seeing some new and exciting Scottish artists. Don’t skip out on this I GUARANTEE it will be the best £50 you have ever spent.
