Flatline– Can’t face it all
Vibe: Recharge that little emo heart.
From the band: The idea for L.A. came to me during a bout of anxiety whilst watching reality TV set in L.A.. I wrote it as a kind of an ode to wanting to be away from your anxieties.
Bonnie says: A guitar intro that hooks you right in. A chorus that you will sing a lot to on the second repeat. The vocal effects give this haunting sound to the song which I absolutely loved! Hard to believe this is a debut. Looking forward to Flatline dropping the next track.

Keiran Forbes– Seasonal Affection
Vibe: Be the main character in your own video game
From the band: Lyrically the song itself is about the way young people navigate romantic relationships in the world we live in today and how this commonly takes the form of ambiguous progression and undefined commitment.
Bonnie says: Keiran has come a long way since I saw him at PJS back in 2023, His tracks are infectious, if they catch you in a bad mood, you will instantly smile and forget all your problems. The retro backing track is fun and fits the aesthetic of the single artwork well also. Another cracker!

Scout Coast – Nothing Quite Like You
Vibe: Dance like no-one is watching
From the band: Scout Coast are bringing a new wave of indie to the masses with a repertoire of guitar pop banger sand catchy ear seeking missiles that would satisfy fans of‘ Catfish and the Bottlemen’ and ‘Circa Waves’.
Bonnie says: Indie-rock with a Falkirk twist. Scout Coast may have appeared to come from nowhere but they make a statement with ‘Nothing Quite Like You’. I dare you to not dance around your kitchen while you are cooking to this track. The guitar line will be stuck in your head for days. I’m becoming such an indie kit lately and this feeds the soul.

Nothing Speaks – Blackwater
Vibe: Headbang worthy.
From the band: “Blackwater is the second of two songs we wrote while down at Somerton Castle writing retreat in Lincoln. This is our most technical and diverse song as of yet with technical double finger bass tapping, head twisting grooves and hard hitting breakdowns to keep any listener on their toes.”
Bonnie says: Gritty. Powerful. Dark. If you love distortion, catchy riffs and bands unapologetically being themselves add this to your playlist. Oh boy, just wait for that break down! Damn.

Tigerdrive – Frogspawn
Vibe: Anger with purpose
From the band: A grungier song from TigerDrive, with the song being inspired by political rebellion.
Bonnie says: TigerDrive are making mad moves. Frogspawn is fast paced, inspired by punk. That scream hits hard! Poppy proper kills it – love hearing female fronted rock bands! More of this please.
Fresh finds…

MCVEIGH– Kids in love
Vibe: Reflective,
Bonnie says: The rasp in Joe’s voice is what makes me enjoy his music so much. Channelling his inner Bryan Adams he has released another tune that deserves so much love. It’s fresh yet nostalgic and encompasses his different musical influences, His vocal range and power is impressive – it’s filled with Irish charm and raw grit.

Crystal Tides – Movies
Vibe: Summer festival banger
Bonnie says: I love this whole album! Movie’s is the stand out for me though, screams summer festival banger. It’s fun and care free, it’s clever it’s dance worthy and I can’t even dance – go check out the whole album.

Sangromantics/Doppelganger – Lime Lite
Vibe: Nostalgic anthemic rock car drive
Bonnie says: This song has been one of my most played for a few months. There is so much to love about it. It’s a track that has something for everyone, the emo kids, the hip hop fans. The chorus will have you belting it out and may even ignite the hidden rapper in you.

Individuals–Live Wire
Vibe: Slap you in the face fantastic
Bonnie says: What a discovery! I love this track so much. The use of dynamics is cracking, the arrangement of the track and the parts are impressive. The drum patterns in the chorus caught my attention and it’s an ear worm. You are long hooked in before the chorus and the track will stay with you long after the song finishes too.

Steff Corr– Sunlight
Vibe: Sunny day strolls
Bonnie says: Horns, harmonies and beautiful lyrics. What is not to like. I love singer songwriters a lot – I loved being sent this track. It’s a real vibe! Stunning arrangement, I’ll be listening for more.
