Leeds based Alt-rockers Foxhaunt drop their latest single The Daylight Between us featuring Sixth Wonder.
Foxhaunt are making serious waves on the Alt-Rock circuit, with multiple sold-out shows and repeated radio play on BBC Radio one Introducing rocks, BBC Radio 1 Future Alternative and Kerang! They are clearly here to shake things up and – The Daylight Between Us does just that.

There is so much going on in this track and a lot to love. The Enter Shikari esque intro kicks things off with a bold statement. From that moment alone, I knew I needed to continue listening to this track. Some songs grow on you, others – like this one – have you hooked on the first listen. I couldn’t help but be sucked into their unique and fearless sound.
The best way to describe this particular track? if Enter Shikari and Hadouken went for a pint with Don Broco and decided a colab was a genious idea – and I mean, honestly, they wouldn’t be wrong!
When that double drum kick enters in the chorus, I instantly knew this track would be massive live. It’s that kind of bass that hits you in the chest. Huge. Sixth wonder and Ollie Swift (lead vocals) take a moment to shine as the track fades, the dynamics change into a softer moment – just briefly – before erupting into a powerful middle 8.
This is the first time hearing the band and I’m glad great music like this can continue to make its way into my inbox. Foxhaunt perfectly blend raw alt-rock edge with real emotional weight in their lyrics:
There is no easy way out you are just so deluded. I need to find where the truth is.
Digging into their previous releases The Daylight Between Us takes marks and exciting shift – with electronic synth layers and playful use of dynamics that tug at the listener’s emotions. Add it to your playlists, blast it during those angry cleaning missions while you scream into the mop and headbang while you hoover or oll the windows down let it rip on those summer road trips. I could imagine this with an EDM remix at alt rock nights for sure!
Check out Foxhaunt’s socials, show some love to the track by adding it to your playlists now.
I’m looking forward to seeing what comes next for Foxhaunt and I’ll be rushing to a Scottish show if/when they decide to cross the border.
