Selects is our brand new monthly spotlight on ten emerging artists making serious noise under the surface.
Five are sent to our inbox—direct from the artists or their team. The other five? We’ve dug for them ourselves. Because great music deserves to be found, not just fed to us.

This isn’t a shout into the void—it’s a carefully curated signal boost. A way of saying: “We see you. Others should too.”

At Bonnie Scotland Presents, we believe music has the power to inspire and unite us all. And, that belief is the heartbeat behind everything we do. Radar isn’t just about plays or stats. It’s about giving space to voices that deserve to be heard and helping listeners fall in love with something new, real, and full of possibility.

I know not everyone uses spotify so beside each track you will find a link that will take you to the song and every platform it is available on. Don’t miss out, get adding these tracks to your playlists!

Chin UpThats’s A Paddlin’ Listen here

Vibe: Punchy & energetic

From the band: The song tells the tale of a calamitous journey to download festival but more importantly recognises that the mistakes and set backs we face in our youth help shape us into the people we become in adulthood and that choosing to grow and learn from them might make you a better person.

Bonnie Says: Fun opening riff. Cool middle 8 with smart bass break. This would hit well live! Pop punk is alive and well!

TrenchesColour Of Your Thoughts Listen here

Vibe: Fierce & nostalgic

From the band: Colour of Your Thoughts captures a moment on a Danish beach at sunset— smoking cigarettes with old comrades, contemplating those who are no longer with us.

Bonnie says: Unique voice that captures your attention. Almost eary guitar tones that match the context of the song. Good to hear rock, in a pure form.

Jack TorranceSomething Changed Listen here

Vibe: Summer indie vibe

From the artist:
There’s a smoky weight to Something Changed, with haunting lyricism and raw emotion layered over understated instrumentation. A thoughtful slow-burner with lasting impact.

Bonnie says: Indie summer road trip track, sorted! Easy listening, song that instantly gets your head bopping. Feel as though its as if Razorlight met a young Sam Fender…

Fences\\\\Any Last Words? Listen here

Vibe: Dark & anthemic

From the band: Suggesting through its lyrics and artwork the story of a prisoner nearing execution, the track nonetheless leaves room for multiple interpretations, offering listeners the opportunity to envision a much brighter ending.

Bonnie says: Bold intro that streams early Biffy Clyro! Cleverly placed instrumental build up throughout the track. The string section builds in speed as if the ‘end’ is nearing. Anthemic sing along chorus.

Jamie ColemanDown by the Shore Listen here

From the artist Combining folk, blues and indie sounds, with atmospheric
vibes. Jamie embarks on a story about the love of life and nature.

MarvellGot Your Back Listen here

Australian Indie rock with real heart. A song you instantly listen to and know you can send it on to someone of importance as the lyrics hit you in the feels. I really loved that the bass line was more prominent in the track than the guitar.

MCVEIGHThe Thief Of Leaving Listen here

Vibe: Cinematic & cathartic

MCVEIGH know how to balance vulnerability with musical depth. Irish singer songwriter I discovered through TIKTOK (it obviously has some uses). This is indie with real soul and groove. Mcveigh has some vocal range, so much to love about this track.

Dylan Flynn and the Dead PoetsThe Story After They Are Gone Listen here

Vibe: Reflective & atmospheric

The Story After They Are Gone is rich with texture, carried by echoing guitars and deep lyrics. The chorus hits and the speed of the track shifts, the saxophone then hits and brings a sprinkle of creative magic.

The SolaasEvergreen Listen here

Vibe: Lush & expansive

A song opening with vocal chorus is bold, The Solaas make a statement with this track. Evergreen makes you want to dance and sway. It’s fun and musically flows well between parts in the song.
